Research2Guidance launched R2GConnect, the global matching platform for the digital health industry. The platform allows efficient startup scouting and it connects, matches, and facilitates strategic partnerships between established healthcare companies and startups. R2GConnect is a matchmaking platform for partnerships between digital health companies and the healthcare industry (briefing partners). Briefing partners can look for startups from all over the world to e.g., co-develop products, invest in or to share solutions with their clients. R2GConnect makes scouting for startups easy.

Startups on the other hand can find industry partners, first customers, investors, conference speaking slots, coaching partners, project offers and more to accelerate and grow their businesses.


The R2GConnect platform was tested by government institutions, corporates, investors, accelerators, incubators, and conferences facilitating hundreds of new partnerships worldwide.

The list of companies that have tested R2GConnect in the past includes: The German Federal Ministry of Health (BMG), the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA), the European Innovation Council, InsurTech Hub Munich e.V., Novartis Biome, Johnson & Johnson Innovation – JLABS, Village Capital & IBM, Chinaccelerator, Digital Health Ventures, Boehringer Ingelheim, Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance, EIT Health Germany, Jemm Ventures, Nubentos, Ticbiomed, ACHA – Americas Continental Healthcare Alliance, Upgraded – part of Healthtech Finland, A-MEDICA.

Feedback was used to create R2GConnect service offering.


On R2GConnect, briefing partners can place an unlimited number of briefings to announce their business opportunities, corporate programs, and digital health events. Briefings can be customized to specifically target digital health companies that support use cases or business models partners are looking for. Our partners can also browse through thousands (starting with 3,000 startups in the R2Gconnect database, adding more every day) of startup profiles, receive referrals and invite startups to apply for their briefings.

Startups and digital health innovators can join the platform for free to explore partnerships and venture capital opportunities. By activating their profiles, they can apply to as many business opportunities that fit their strategy for growth, as well as get in touch directly with as many potential partners who are interested in their solution.

The list of partnership inquiries (briefings) will be greatly expanded in the coming days and months in order to give as many startups as possible the opportunity to find an investor or industry partner.

The currently available partnership requests are:


Ticbiomed has published two briefings to support the creation of their dRural program. The program aims at becoming the service marketplace for the European rural areas, tested in Dubrovnik-Neretva County (Croatia), Region Gelderland Midden (The Netherlands) and Extremadura (Spain).

BRIEFING 1: Digital health solutions to improve quality of life in the rural areas.

The call is focused on 2 types of services:

  • Simple Services: provided by small businesses and solo entrepreneurs, services suppliers on the dRural marketplace.

Offer: 5,000€ grant. Up to 80 service providers to be awarded.

  • Complex Services: building new innovative services by integrating external data platforms (and thus expected from organizations with more resources to build them).

Offer: 50,000€ grant. Up to 16 service providers to be awarded.

BRIEFING 2: Independent evaluators to assess dRural program applications.

Evaluators must have a good knowledge of the English language AND of the language of the Regional Demonstrator(s) in which they wish to evaluate the applications. This is a mandatory requirement to be able to review the applications and to be able to participate in the discussions with other reviewers and with the dRural partners.

Offer: 10€ (VAT excluded) per simple service application evaluated and 40€ (VAT excluded) per complex service application evaluated.

Nubentos has published two partnership opportunities.

BRIEFING 1: Digital cardiovascular risk calculator.

Nubentos is looking for an innovation provider that supplies scoring of risk index for cardiovascular events API technology, with the most recent tables published in the clinical literature (SCORE2 and SCORE2-OP).
