R2G launches new global survey: Startup-Corporate Partnerships in Digital Health: Success factors and breaking points

R2G launched a global survey that explores how corporates like hospitals, pharmaceutical companies or health insurers partner with start-ups. Corporates are using all kinds of formats to approach start-ups e.g. accelerators, hackathons, competitions, investment fonds to just name a few. Still most partnerships fail. The survey asks decision makers from start-ups and corporates, why this happens and what could be done to improve the collaboration between unequal partners.

The new global survey concentrates on how large healthcare organizations and startups partner to drive innovation in digital health: what works and what doesn’t when forming and managing a partnership.

To find out what works for “startup – corporate partnerships in digital health” the survey aims at answering questions such as:

  • What are the existing models for partnership identification and management?
  • What are the “breaking points” in the partnering process which define whether a partnership would be a success or a failure?
  • Which tools are being used and how do they work?
  • What is the share of partnerships between digital health startups and large healthcare companies that are successful?

The survey targets start-ups as well as decision makers from healthcare companies that have experience in working with start-ups. The survey will be open until end of October 2019.
