R2G launches a new global covid-19 2021 survey to assess the impact covid-19 has had on the digital health industry. R2G conducted a global survey at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 to understand the views and opinions the digital health experts had on the impact of covid-19 on the digital health industry. This study is an update of the global 2020 survey to compare and understand what changes the digital industry has witnessed in the last one year during the global pandemic.

The new survey focuses on understanding the changes in the views and opinions of digital health stakeholders and influencers compared to the beginning of the pandemic in 2020.

The survey aims to answer the following questions:

What was the impact of covid-19 on the global digital health industry in the last one year?
How has digital health supported all stages of management of crisis?
Were there more companies affected by the pandemic?

It is interesting to learn the current opinions and views of entrepreneurs and established healthcare companies on the impact of the pandemic on their business and the market. A year ago, according to the majority of participants of the 2020 impact assessment, the digital health industry will not radically transform during the pandemic. Yet the Corona crisis will have a significant impact on how healthcare is delivered. What are your thoughts today? Is this still the case?

The survey targets various stakeholders in the digital health ecosystem: representatives from hospitals, insurance, pharma, public authorities, digital health companies and start-ups as well as decision makers from healthcare companies.
