2024: R2GConnect initiated more than 1,500 partnership talks between startups, corporates and investors

In 2024, the R2GConnect platform facilitated hundreds of partnership opportunities for HealthTech innovators, connecting them with industry partners such as leading pharma companies, accelerators, hospitals, investors and service providers. New services were added to the platform.

As of today, over 8,400 HealthTech companies spanning diverse therapeutic areas, use cases, and countries are part of the R2GConnect global community. These companies have actively engaged with and applied to various partnership opportunities, leading to over 1,500 partnership talks, investor talks, and even one signed investment term sheet.

Partnerships help startups grow and healthcare incumbents realize their innovation projects faster.

• 1,500+ Partnership talks have been initiated between startups, healthcare corporates, and event organizors
• 100+ Help Offers from Startups for Startups. In 2024, R2GConnect launched its new standalone “Startup Help Requests” feature, enabling startups to access expertise and resources from fellow startups and service providers. Over 50 help requests were submitted, with startups seeking collaboration, technical support, and guidance in areas like AI integration.
• 90+ Exclusive HealthTech Deals Offered. In 2024, R2GConnect introduced its new Exclusive Deals offering, providing over 90 special deals for HealthTech startups. These deals granted startups access to valuable services such as discounted SaaS tools, AI workshops, clinical investigation application support, and expert consulting.
• 100+ Investor Talks Initiated, and 1 Investment Term Sheet Signed. R2GConnect’s role as a connector between startups and investors grew significantly in 2024. The platform facilitated over 100 investor talks, connecting startups with funding opportunities ranging from €500K to €10M. As a result, one investment term sheet was signed, highlighting R2GConnect’s success in helping startups secure the resources needed to scale their businesses and bring their ideas to life.

Partnerships are seen as the main driver for innovation and growth in the healthtech industry. According to an R2G study “Startup-Corporate Partnerships in Digital Health, 2024”, 95% of all healthtech companies and healthcare companies have already entered into partnerships or want to do so in the next few years.
